Welcome to 1521 STUDIO—your cozy corner for all things stationery, where creativity and self-expression come to life.

1521 STUDIO is the passion project of Chloe, a graphic designer based in Melbourne, Australia, who has loved stationery and all things cute for as long as she can remember.

In high school, Chloe spent her days journaling (手帳📖) and collecting washi tapes and paper goods. For her, journaling is more than a hobby—it’s a moment of self-reflection, a creative outlet, and a source of pure joy where she could pour her thoughts and creativity onto the pages.

Designing stationery has always been Chloe's dream. Over the years, she often worked on stationery projects for clients, but one day, while in the shower, a thought popped into her head: "Why not start my own stationery brand?" And that’s how 1521 STUDIO was born—right in the bathroom. 

WHY  1 5 2 1?

The name Fifty Twenty One Studio is more than just a combination of numbers. "15" marks the start of Chloe’s stationery journey in 2015, while "21" celebrates the year her dream of creating 1521 STUDIO came to life. Together, these numbers tell the story of how 1521 STUDIO began.

We believe stationery is an extension of who you are. The pieces you choose reflect your style and personality, just like the clothes you wear or the way you decorate your home. We hope our stationery is more than just paper and pens—it becomes a reflection of you.
